Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. As a child, she was inspired by Boleros, classical music and the traditional romantic, ranchero and romance ballads. Ana loves the operas and tangos along with any dramatic performance. At the age 16, she started singing and studying music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began giving her a more intensive singing instruction. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. Her early professional career included performances with a variety of chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo in traditional Latin American music at private performances. Passion and enthusiasm for music, art, and performing has her involved in many local projects as a performer and teacher. Ana is also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
